University student investigate the paranormal
Sony is getting in on the financing of Scars with Rodar d Rodar, the Spanish production outfit behind The Orphanage.
Sergi Viscaino will direct from a script by Daniel Padro.
The film tells of a group of university students, led by a girl named Angela, who set up camp in an abandoned town to study any supernatural occurrences there. A malevolent ghost that can only be seen by Angela’s sister.
Viscaino garnered attention for his short horror film Tight.
