A new online zom-com
Machinima.com has launched a new zom-com web series called Bite Me that is said to be a mix of Shaun of the Dead, Scream and Dead Rising. Say wha…? Here are some official details:
Through âBite Me,â Machinima.com is leveraging the passion of zombie culture from its gaming audience, by playing with the concepts of gaming in entertainment, and weaving together a five episode series that debuted December 3, 2010. To bring the series to the web, Machinima.com partnered with the videogame publisher Capcom to integrate the videogame Dead Rising 2 into the story, and established the characters as habitual gamers and zombie experts. By bringing on board Epic Level Entertainment, an experienced production company with expertise in genre franchises, Machinima.com and Epic Level have produced a premium live-action series that speaks to gamers and the broader audience.
