WWE wrestler announces new project
The horror genre has seen its share of popular wrestlers appearing on the screen. Add Goldust (aka Dustin Patrick Runnels aka Dustin Rhodes) to the list. Apparently he told his Twitter followers recently that he’s going to do a horror flick. Wrestling New Source gathered up the tweets:
Next thanksgiving I will be shooting my first movie….the fire witch…that I will be directing and producing…and will be in it. Just in the starting stages…..but will let you know more when more is known. It won’t be a wrestling movie….it is a horror film. It will be a low budget film and my very first…..lots of work ahead.
The Fire Witch, eh? Well, we’ll see… Goldust is aiming to get the film into Sundance 2012. More details as they come in.
On a side note: Is it too hard to just come up with a film for The Undertaker? Or is that too obvious a choice for a horror movie?
