Aiming for a fall debut
It looks like the sequel to Piranha 3D will not be snagging a similar August release date after all.
Dimension Films announced Piranha 3DD is going to open on September 16, 2011. And, so far, it looks to be the only horror film being released that month. A few other titles populated September, but were reshuffled to earlier or later dates.
John Gulager (Feast) will direct the sequel based on a script by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton.
