X-Files meets Buffy
With The Vampire Diaries avoiding a sophomore slump earning good ratings and solid reviews in its second season, Kevin Williamson is exploring a new supernatural television project.
The writer is at work on a companion show described as a mix of The X-Files and Buffy the Vampire Slayer as it follows a group of young people who investigate the paranormal. His longtime creative partner Julie Plec will co-write.
Nothing has been written yet and, as Deadline states, it’s unknown if anything will be ready for the pilot season. So we may be a ways out from seeing anything.
