Scream writer and “The Vampire Diaries” co-creator/executive producer Kevin Williamson is developing a new supernatural drama project that is envisioned as a potential companion for The CW’s “Diaries,” says Deadline.
The untitled Warner Bros. TV project is as “‘The X-Files’ meets ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer.'” It reportedly focuses on a group of people who investigate paranormal events.
“The Vampire Diaries” co-creator/executive producer Julie Plec is in talks to come onboard and co-write the project with Williamson.
