“Broken” babes to duke it out
Want action? Want crime? Tired of the torture film sub-genre but willing to endure it anyway?
Then Dog Fight is for you. The film revolves around an underground fighting ring whose competitors are made up of women who have been kidnapped and “broken” – essentially being turned into rabid dogs psychologically.
Written by Jen Soska and Sylvia Soska, the twin team behind Dead Hooker in a Trunk, the film is being directed by Sean-Michael Argo.
Tara Cardinal and Devanny Pinn will star in the film, whose cast is rounded out by B indie movie vets Brandon Slagle, Elske McCain, Shannon Lark, Rachel Grubb, Deneen Melody and Tara Alexis. Also starring are Bill Oberst Jr., Jose Rosete, Elisabeth Fies, Julia Boyd, Keith Kraft, Tawny Amber Young and Barry Ratcliffe.
Shooting begins in L.A. this September. Look for it next spring…
