MGM woes may push back release
No surprise here, The Cabin in the Woods – Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon’s secretive creature feature – may be getting pushed out of its January 14, 2011 slot.
The Hollywood Reporter speculates it could happen in this article which offers an update on the state of MGM, where Cabin is housed. They say there are no trailers prepared for the film and it’s “assumed” it will find another release date.
Too bad, as the film – which takes the kids in a secluded cabin formula to new level – is anticipated, but buzz has waned since a series of teaser posters made their debut at the San Diego Comic-Con last year.
