From director Brad Anderson
Regardless of what I thought of Transsiberian, Brad Anderson is still a director who holds my interest. So curiosity is high for Vanishing on 7th Street, a thriller he quietly shot with stars Hayden Christensen, Thandie Newton and John Leguizamo. The first images from the film have surfaced and they’re a bit too ambiguous to make any judgment calls on what’s to come. The film is set against the backdrop of a mysterious global blackout that causes populations to vanish. A small handful of survivors bands together in a dimly-lit tavern on 7th Street, struggling to combat the apocalyptic horror.
