20th Century Fox has revealed a sneak peek at Predators that was shown at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas on Friday night. You can watch the video, which features behind-the-scenes footage and clips from the movie, at the newly-launched official website! The site also includes a gallery with a look at the new Predator Hound and says that the trailer will be available on March 18th.
Predators was shot on location under Robert Rodriguez’s creative auspices at the filmmaker’s Austin-based Troublemaker Studios, and is directed by Nimród Antal. The film stars Adrien Brody as Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they’ve been brought together on an alien planet… as prey. With the exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers â mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members â human “predators” that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.
Opening July 7, the film co-stars Laurence Fishburne, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Danny Trejo, Walton Goggins, Oleg Taktarov, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali and Louiz Ozawa.
