Fox offers preview…
A High-Def Digest contributor posted the following image: A Fox Home Entertainment promo for an Alien Anthology Blu-Ray set coming this Christmas.
We knew the exhaustive Alien Quadrilogy was making the leap from DVD to Blu, but this “anthology” talk hints that Fox might package Alien vs. Predator and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem into the set. (Update: We’ve been told there are no plans to add the AvP entries.) Sources confirmed to us over the weekend that Sigourney Weaver is sitting down to record all-new commentaries for the Alien films she stars in. There might also be a preview of sorts for Ridley Scott’s forthcoming Alien prequel. That’s possible as Scott is wrapping up Robin Hood right now and could well be into production on his Alien film by Christmas.
