A survival horror creature feature
The European Film Market is just around the corner, introducing attendees to a bevy of new fright offerings we could potentially be seeing in the next year. Below you’ll find the official trailer for an Australian horror pic called Primal from filmmaker Josh Reed.
Here, six friends set out on a field trip into a remote wilderness area but when one of them takes a dip in the waterhole she soon becomes feverish, regresses to a predatory, primal state and begins to hunt her friends. A frenzied, visceral nightmare quickly develops as another of the group begins to regress, and terror descends on the rest as they are hunted down one-by-one.
But as you’ll see in the trailer, it looks like there’s a bit of a creature feature element to it as well.
