Yep, you read that right
Capcom has spearheaded a Japanese Dead Rising movie all on its own. That’s right, a live-action adaptation of the popular video game that follows photographer Frank West in a zombie apocalypse.
Here’s the rub. Capcom, as it has every right to do since they own the property, has made a few changes in the narrative. Gone is Frank. Instead, we get a handful of new survivors. There’s plenty of campy zombie-killin’ and the promise of “FPS!” (first-person shooter). Unusual, since the Dead Rising game never had that.
There’s talk that when Dead Rising 2 comes to XBox, this film will be available to download.
How long is it going to take until the Resident Evil film haters shift their vitriol to this new zombie adaptation?
