Based on the newly-released game
This has horror potential. After all, it’s set during the apocalypse.
It seems the upcoming video game Darksiders is exploring its options in other mediums. Vigil’s Joe Madureira (creative director, comic book vet) told VG247: “We’ve gotten some interest from Hollywood, we’ve talked about doing a comic series. At least a couple of those things have to happen, I’m sure.”
A comic book seems more realistic. A film? That might be a big undertaking. You see, the game is set in the wake of the apocalypse. You play one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse – War – who traverses across a scorched earth. So this tale sounds rather expensive to pull off.
Darksiders hit stores yesterday.
