With its eye-catching poster that recalls the days of Mario Bava, our interest in Amer began at the American Film Market in November. Then, we had little details on Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani’s French feature that certainly does look giallo-esque; some critics have said, however, to call the film that is just hitting the tip of the iceberg.
