Showtime series ratings kill
Are you ready for this Sunday’s fourth season finale of Dexter? Well, if you’re in the New York or Los Angeles area, Showtime is hosting special screenings for the finale. Here are all the details:
This Sunday, December 13th watch the epic season finale of Dexter, while sipping Dexter themed cocktails at select Starwood Hotels!

On a related note, Variety reports that this past Sunday’s episode “Hello, Dexter Morgan” drew in an average of more than 2.1 million viewers at 9 pm, repping the most-viewed single telecast for Showtime in more than 10 years. This also marks the most-watched episode of Dexter, ever. According to the article, Showtime hadn’t attracted a larger audience for a single telecast since Oct. 1999, when it ran the Tyson vs. Norris fight.
