The Eli Roth project & new Yustman thriller
The Cannes Film Festival is revving up and First Showing is on the scene snapping away pics of the promo posters on display.
Of note: Cotton, the Eli Roth-produced project we first told you about last November which concerns an evangelical minister who turns against religion and decides to participate in a documentary in which he practices his last exorcism. Then there’s And Soon the Darkness which finds Odette Yustman and Amber Heard playing two play American girls who go on a bike trip in a remote part of the country. When one of them disappears, the other must find her before darkness falls and her worst fears are realized. Karl Urban (Star Trek) plays the heavy.
