Hi-res pics from the event in Hollywood
The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood played host to a packed crowd who showed up for Sunday’s tribute to Forrest J Ackerman. The Famous Monsters of Filmland editor passed away at the age of 92 in December. At Ackerman’s request, no proper funeral was planned, however, friends and fans gathered over the weekend to remember him. The afternoon was led by Tim Sullivan who introduced an array of speakers such as Ray Bradbury, John Landis, Guillermo Del Toro, Bill Warren, Rick Baker and Joe Dante, to name a few.
