Series lands a McQueen
Steven R. McQueen is set to play Jeremy in The CW’s pilot Vampire Diaries. The actor is the grandson of the awesome Steve McQueen and has appeared on CSI: Miami and Everwood. Variety reports he will play the role of “Jeremy” in the show.
Scream‘s Kevin Williamson and Kyle XY‘s Julie Plec have wrote the a pilot which stems from the young adult novels by L.J. Smith. WBTV and Alloy will produce.
The premise of the series follows Elena Gilbert, a young woman caught between quarreling vampire brothers, Stefan and Damon. Smith published five “Vampire Diaries” books.
