Reminder: Netherbeast Release Bash

ShockTillYouDrop.com, the fine lads at NewsAskew.com and Ronalds Brothers Productions are throwing a party! And for good reason, too. The horror-comedy Netherbeast Incorporated (official site, which received a thumbs up from Shock critic Nelson, is arriving on DVD. So why not celebrate?

We’re joining the aforementioned co-sponsors for a release party on Tuesday, January 6th (the film’s street date) at CineSpace (6356 Hollywood Blvd.) in Hollywood. Doors open at 6pm and the bash will run until roughly 7:30pm. Admission is free as long as you purchase a copy of the DVD on site; an RSVP to [email protected] is welcome, but not mandatory. And celebrity guests are planned (an official list was not available at the time of this writing).

The Ronalds Brothers’ Netherbeast Incorporated is an offbeat comedy with a quirky twist on the vampire tale set in modern day corporate America. Employees of Berm-Tech Industries, Inc. have kept the family secret for a long time. For years it has been business as usual, until the top vampire in charge (Darrell Hammond of Saturday Night Live) contracts a dreaded disease, becomes senile forgetting that he s a vampire and starts killing off other vampire colleagues. A human efficiency expert (Judd Nelson) and “Dead Mike’s” replacement (Amy Davidson of 8 Simple Rules) are invited to work at Berm-Tech but soon they discover that some of their associates (Dave Foley, Jason Mewes and Steve Burns) are not what they appear to be.
