Tommy Lee Wallace Headmaster of Helliversity

No one graduates from this school

Tommy Lee Wallace, who directed Halloween III: Season of the Witch and Stephen King’s It, is helming Helliversity, the story of a group of American exchange students terrorized by a vengeful spirit while locked inside a high-security foreign university. Steve Langford co-wrote the script with Wallace.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, filming is going to begin in March with principle photography moving from Los Angeles to India. It’s the first film in FarCor Studios and Indusa Global’s new joint venture to produce low-budget indie features. FarCor co-president Dwayne Corbitt and Indusa president James Ram will lead the endeavor.

Helliversity is the first film for Wallace in six years. He directed the 2002 direct-to-DVD venture Vampires: Los Muertos, a sequel to pal John Carpenter’s Vampires. Wallace also renewed Roddy McDowall and William Ragsdale’s fear of bloodsuckers when he took over Fright Night Part 2.
