Eerie Horror Fest Welcomes TCM Reunion

Full film lineup announced

The Eerie Horror Film Festival will roll out the red carpet for more than 60 films October 9th – 12th at the historic Warner Theater in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Festival President Greg Ropp said 51 of the films were selected from more than 300 entries worldwide this season. “The quality of the film submissions have improved each passing year making the final decision making very difficult,” says Ropp.

The biggest highlight is expected to be the cast reunion of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and a special screening of that 1974 cult classic on Friday, October 10 at 7 p.m.

Another highlight will be the Awards Ceremony on Saturday, October 11th at 6 p.m., for Best Feature, Best Short, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Student Film, Best Cinematography and Best Special Effects.

Now in its fifth season, the Eerie Horror Film Festival has grown exponentially every year. This is its first year at the Warner Theater and the first time films have been screened at the Warner since the late 1970s.

The Festival is teaming up with The Make-A-Wish Foundation this year to help raise money for children with serious illnesses. A portion of all ticket and T-shirt sales will go to the Foundation. On September 14th the Festival joined with the Foundation to stage the Monster Wish Charity Walk, raising nearly $1,000 in the process.

The entire schedule of film screenings is listed at the Festival’s website EerieHorrorFilmFestival.com.
