Lustig provides an update
William Lustig chatted about the rumored Maniac remake on a recent edition of Fangoria Radio.
“The Maniac remake keeps threatening to happen,” Lustig says. “I’ve been talking [with various parties] for nine months to untangle the rights. I think it will happen.”
The 1981 original starred Joe Spinell as a killer prowling the streets of New York City. Tom Savini provided the pictures grisly FX.
