Bousman’s opera heading to Fantasia
The Fantasia Film Festival (July 3 – 21) is just around the corner and one of the many bizarre films commanding the attention of attendees is Darren Lynn Bousman’s Repo! The Genetic Opera. Yes, it has received quite a bit of press around here (set visit) and, today, Bousman has alerted us to a new trailer that puts that Scream Awards teaser that made its debut last year to shame.

Alexa Vega, Paul Sorvino, Bill Moseley, Paris Hilton, Kevin Graham Ogilvie, Anthony Stewart Head and Sarah Brightman star in this horror/rock musical which concerns a worldwide epidemic and encourages a biotech company to launch an organ-financing program similar in nature to a standard car loan. The repossession clause is a killer, however.
