Pakistan’s first splatter flick
TLA Releasing will issue Omar Khan’s Pakastani horror film Hell’s Ground on DVD June 24th under the company’s Danger After Dark label. The film takes it cue from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and a wide crop of zombie films by throwing a few teens in a van which breaks down in the middle of the woods. From there they are attacked by zombies, “a decapitated head-toting, screaming banshee-like hitchhiker” and a medieval weapon-touting figure dressed in a burqa.
