2/3’s of script in the can
It doesn’t look like Rob Schmidt is returning to the camera to complete Bad Meat since production halted at the beginning of the month due to insufficient funds.
Capitol Films, the company bankrolling the horror movie, reportedly offered false promises that money would be put back into place to resume production. Showbiz blogger Nikki Finke’s sources at Deadline Hollywood Daily say you can pretty much forget about all of that.
After lensing 2/3’s of the script, Schmidt’s project has folded and, as reported earlier, everyone – including cast and crew – has returned home. ShockTillYouDrop.com will be reaching out to the film’s producers and director for a statement and update – can Bad Meat be salvaged?
