Tomas Alfredson’s Swedish vampire film
A quick news bite for this one: Let the Right One In, coming soon from Magnolia Pictures, scored the Tribeca Film Festival’s top narrative award for 2008. THR adds director Tomas Alfredson is already being pursued by Hollywood execs for American representation. This comes shortly after our report that UK production outfit Hammer Films has acquired the remake rights for Alfredson’s film (details).
