Co-starring Emmanuelle Seigner, Elsa Pataky
Update: We have been informed that Brody is, in fact, replacing Ray Liotta. A role formerly filled by Vincent Gallo has not been cast yet and Asia Argento is no longer in the film.
Reports of Vincent Gallo’s departure from Dario Argento’s Giallo have been confirmed with the addition of Adrien Brody. He joins the previously announced Elsa Pataky and Emmanuelle Seigner (“The Girl” from Polanski’s The Ninth Gate) also recently signed on board.
Giallo revolves around an American flight attendant who teams with an Italian investigator to search for her missing sister who has been abducted by a serial killer known only as Yellow. Sean Keller and Jim Agnew penned the script.
The term “giallo” means “yellow” in Italian and also refers to the Italian pulp, horror and erotic genre of film and literature. Shooting begins on May 12th in Torino, Italy.
Brody is currently shooting Splice for Vincenzo Natali.
