Scream queen team share director’s seat
Prank is the title of a new indie anthology horror film lensing now in and around Los Angeles. What’s putting this one immediately on our radar is the directing team behind it: Danielle Harris, Heather Langenkamp and Ellie Cornell. This triumvirate cut from the Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street franchises is tackling three tales of terror.
From Langenkamp comes Jennifer the story of a college co-ed caught up in a dangerous phone game. Madison is directed by Harris; it concerns a young girl awaiting her boyfriend’s arrival and her suspicions that something may have happened to him. And finally, Cornell’s contribution is entitled Cassidy which takes place at the center of a “whodunit” party where the titular character’s pals start dropping dead.
