This could be one big joke
Various retailers, such as Amazon, are pegging the Butcher Bros.’ April Fool’s Day as a DVD release slated to debut on March 25th.
That’s an awfully fast turnaround for a production that only began a few months back. Mitchell Altieri and Phil Flores (the Butchers themselves) were in post-production as of mid-December. However, Sony was always eyeing an April 2008 bow, so if the above is true, they’ve met their goal.
We’ve checked the distributor’s home entertainment publicity site, currently there’s no listing there for the remake. Take this with a grain of salt until official confirmation comes in.
