New thriller from Girl Next Door producers
Modernciné has informed Shock that shooting recently began on Home Movies, Christopher Denham’s directorial debut. Denham wrote the script and also starred in Andrew van den Houten’s Headspace which you can now find on video.
The production entity is calling “Movies” a psychological thriller and cryptically explains the premise surrounds the discovered home movies of “the Poe family.” Newtown, Connecticut is where principal photography is currently taking place with Adrian Pasdar (Near Dark, “Heroes”) toplining. Soap vet Cady McClain co-stars with Austin Williams (The Good Shepherd).
The folks at Modernciné have also hinted that big distribution news regarding their gut-punching adaptation of Jack Ketchum’s The Girl Next Door is forthcoming. Keep an eye on that film’s official site here for a trailer soon.
