Two-disc SE in the works
Various sources are announcing the domestic home video debut of Bong Joon-ho’s The Host, the finely-textured creature feature from South Korea that made a critical splash during its theatrical run courtesy of Magnolia Pictures. “Host” will swim onto DVD via a single-disc presentation and a two-disc special edition. The latter will include a making-of doc, featurettes on the creation of the “host” (brought to life by WETA, The Orphanage and Creature Workshop), mini-docs on the cast and crew, and deleted scenes. Look for both packages to street on July 24th.
