Disney has purchased Monster Witness Relocation Program, an original script by Ahmet Zappa and Michael Wilson, reports Deadline.
No details are given, though the title presumably conveys the film’s high-concept plot. Zappa has previously written about monsters in his children’s book, The Monstrous Memoirs of a Mighty McFearless, a property that the article notes is also owned by Disney.
There is mention that Jaden Smith may be in talks to star, but such reports should be considered rumor at this stage.
