Russian helmer Sergei Bodrov will direct Spook’s Apprentice for Warner Bros. Pictures, Legendary Pictures and Thunder Road.
The film is an adaptation of Joseph Delaney’s children’s book, first in a six-part series, about a 13-year-old boy who learns about wizardry from a forbidding old spook.
Chuck Leavitt (Blood Diamond) will rewrite the adaptation, originally adapted by Matt Greenberg.
