Laurie Holden has joined the cast of Frank Darabont’s “The Walking Dead” at AMC.
She’ll play Andrea, a key member of the survivor group who has a proficiency with a sniper rifle and falls for a man twice her age.
In addition, newcomer Steven Yeun has been added to the cast as Glenn. He and Holden join Andrew Lincoln, Jeffrey DeMunn, Jon Bernthal and Sarah Wayne Callies on the show.
The series is based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics.
“The Walking Dead” tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes (Lincoln), who travel in search of a safe and secure home.
