Last night, at a special premiere event for the first trailer from Screen Gems’ Resident Evil: Afterlife, actress Ali Larter answered questions from fans in attendance, and inevitably, she was asked the question that’s on many minds, which was whether her NBC series “Heroes” and her character Tracy Strauss may return for a fifth season.
Season 4 ended on February 8 with no word from NBC whether they plan on continuing with a fifth season after many reports of dwindling ratings and general dissatisfaction with the direction of the show.
When asked about whether the show might return, Larter responded optimistically, “I think we’re coming back for ‘Heroes’ for another season. I think, but I’m not sure. It’s been such a thrill being on that show and I hope that we have the chance to sort of wrap up those storylines for all the fans of it. So you guys have to go and blog and get on there.”
If the show does return, they’ll probably have to start shooting by the summer, so hopefully, there will be a definite “yay” or “nay” announcement from NBC or Tim Kring soon enough.
