The free games for the month of January 2016
Sony and Microsoft have both announced the slate of free games that will available to subscribing PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold members for the month of January 2016.
PlayStation Plus members will be able to download the vehicular combat multiplayer title Hardware: Rivals for PlayStation 4, the iconic Grim Fandango Remastered for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, the RPG Dragon Age: Origins and the first person shooter Medal of Honor Warfighter for PlayStation 3, and the turn-based strategy Legends of War Patton and the puzzle platformer Nihilumbra for PS Vita.
Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download the fighting game Killer Instinct: Season 1 Ultra Edition the entire month of January for Xbox One, plus the beat ’em up title Zheros from January 16th to February 15th. On the Xbox 360 side of things (with Xbox One Backward Compatibility), players will be able to download the racing title DiRT Showdown from January 1st to January 15th with cyber punk RPG Deus Ex: Human Revolution available from January 16th to January 31st.
