The official website for Universal Pictures’ Repo Men has been updated with a new Restricted Director’s Cut trailer for the film, opening in theaters on March 19. You can watch the trailer here! Directed by Miguel Sapochnik, the futuristic action-thriller stars Jude Law, Forest Whitaker, Liev Schreiber, RZA, Alice Braga and Carice van Houten. The studio has also provided us with new photos from the film, which you can check out here.
Another promo for the movie you may want to check out is the online game Repo Men Cometh. In the game, it is your job to collect artificial organs [artiforg] as they are overdue, but don’t harm the innocent civilians and be sure to play nice with Union’s paying customers.
Also, the Repo Men Hunt is currently underway. The Union is offering select men and women the opportunity to join their exclusive force of repo experts. The Repo Men must use the internet, their wits, and any other legal means possible to find anyone in possession of an artiforg. Any Repo Man claiming and returning an artiforg to The Union will receive a payment of $7,500 per artiforg returned.
In Repo Men, humans have extended and improved our lives through highly sophisticated and expensive mechanical organs created by a company called The Union. Jude Law plays Remy, one of the best organ repo men in the business. But when he suffers a cardiac failure on the job, he awakens to find himself fitted with the company’s top-of-the-line heart-replacement… as well as a hefty debt. But a side effect of the procedure is that his heart’s no longer in the job. When he can’t make the payments, The Union sends its toughest enforcer, Remy’s former partner Jake (Whitaker), to track him down. Now that the hunter has become the hunted, Remy joins Beth (Braga), another debtor who teaches him how to vanish from the system. And as he and Jake embark on a chase across a landscape populated by maniacal friends and foes, one man will become a reluctant champion for thousands on the run.
