An extended TV spot for Ant-Man premiered last night during the season finale of Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and it offers up a bit of new footage from the film, which will bring yet another Marvel movie to theaters on July 17.
Paul Rudd stars as the title character and it has already been confirmed that he’ll once again play the character in next year’s Captain America: Civil War, but first we’ll meet this founding member of The Avengers in his own film.
Ant-Man comes armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength and master thief Scott Lang (Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world. Michael Peña, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, John Slattery, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer and Tip Harris co-star.
