I’m not judging, I’m just saying… or I guess asking is the more appropriate verb here… what is it with the blue beams of light to the sky in so many of these comic book movies? It’s not as if it’s a deal breaker when it comes to the film’s plot or anything like that, but once again a new comic book movie is featuring such a scenario as seen on the new poster for Fantastic Four, coming to theaters on August 7.
Fantastic Four, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
