The debate for the next couple of days will be if Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) or Boyhood will take Best Picture at the Oscars. I currently have Birdman taking it, but I won’t be surprised or disappointed if Boyhood wins. They are my #1 and #2 movies of the year after all.
However, this article has nothing to do with the Oscars. This is just a fun parody of Birdman entitled “Big Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Orange Pants)“, starring the great Caroll Spinney and arguably his most famous Muppet Big Bird. Spinney has been on “Sesame Street” since its inaugural season and remains there to this day. He is also behind Oscar the Grouch.
I think the video is quite amusing, particularly Spinney making a beak with his hand to do the telepathic stuff. If you are a fan of “Sesame Street”, give it a watch. It is sure to give you a big smile and some chuckles.
