The first official picture of Jason Momoa as Aquaman from Zack Snyder‘s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released this evening on the director’s Twitter feed with the director adding “There is only one true King” and the caption on the image reading “Unite the seven”, which I have to assume is a reference to the seven members of the Justice League. Then again, what do I know?
There is no word on just how much Momoa will be featured in Batman v Superman come March 25, 2016, but the character is already due to have his own Aquaman movie, already set for a June 27, 2018 release. Following that he’ll likely reprise the character a third time in Justice League Part One later that same year.
