I’ve seen more than one website refer to what I’m about to tell you as spoilers so, I guess… beware? Personally I don’t think much of anything in a Marvel movie can really be spoiled, especially small cameo appearances, but I don’t want anyone getting all pissed off at me so consider yourself warned.
First off, Idris Elba was speaking with The Telegraph and let loose word that both he and Tom Hiddleston would be reprising their roles as Heimdall and Loki in Avengers: Age of Ultron. I’m trying to remember what happened in Thor: The Dark World and unless I’m mistaken didn’t Heimdall die and Loki killed Thor’s father (Anthony Hopkins) and tricked Thor at the end of the movie? Do I have that right?
Elba told The Telegraph, “I’m in Avengers, [a]nd I’m doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston.”
Secondly, a casting call has been posted at ProjectCasting searching for a body double for Hayley Atwell, aka Agent Peggy Carter, for Ant-Man. “NLC is searching for an experienced stand in for Haley Atwell,” the post reads, and yes, they spelled her name wrong. “She is 31, 5’7″, 112 lbs. This will work in November on a Sunday… Must have experience.”
I don’t know about you, but the only thing I’m focusing on here is the “5’7″, 112 lbs.” Man, that is so small!
