Despite being available on YouTube for almost four years now after accompanying the Blu-ray release, the alternate ending to James Cameron‘s Titanic has captured the attention of the online blogosphere. Seriously, just Google “titanic alternate ending” and you’ll see just how many blogs 1.) are not only writing about the alternate ending, but 2.) exist and you didn’t even know about it.

Nevertheless, if you somehow missed it already, here it is, along with the “Saturday Night Live” alternate ending, which gets a little more violent toward ol’ Rose.
As for details, apparently this was part of Cameron’s assembly cut, though there are rumors Cameron created this ending for the studio, which wasn’t happy with the theatrical cut as we all know it. I tried finding more information but searching for anything else online was impossible thanks to how popular this new video has become. Have a look for yourself what all the fuss is about.
