20th Century Fox has premiered two new posters for David Fincher‘s Gone Girl, both featuring a torn and tattered Ben Affleck who stars in the adaptation of Gillian Flynn‘s novel as Nick Dunne whom, on the occasion of his fifth wedding anniversary, reports that his beautiful wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), has gone missing. Under pressure from the police and a growing media frenzy, Nick’s portrait of a blissful union begins to crumble. Soon his lies, deceits and strange behavior have everyone asking the same dark question: Did Nick Dunne kill his wife?
The film is set to open the New York Film Festival in late September before hitting theaters on October 3.
