I was sleeping on the job apparently when the first trailer for No Good Deed dropped over a month ago, but the new thriller starring Idris Elba and Taraji P. Henson is hitting theaters on September 12 and along with the trailer the first poster is now available.
The film has bounced all around the 2014 release schedule, but finally is coming to theaters centering on a story following Terri (Henson), a devoted wife and mother of two, living an ideal suburban life in Atlanta when Colin (Elba), a charming but dangerous escaped convict, shows up at her door claiming car trouble. Terri offers her phone to help him but soon learns that no good deed goes unpunished as she finds herself fighting for survival when he invades her home and terrorizes her family.
Something tells me this isn’t going to turn into a story where the two make a peach pie together and skirt the law with Terri’s children.
