Warner Bros. has premiered a second new picture from The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies again featuring Ian McKellen as Gandalf and Lee Pace as the Elven King Thranduil.
There isn’t much else to say at the moment other than to say Peter Jackson will be at the San Diego Comic Con this Saturday as part of what USA Today describes as a “star-studded Hobbit panel”.
Screenwriter Philippa Boyens told the paper, “People tend to forget what happens at the end of ‘The Hobbit’… They think of this little children’s book. The rest of the story needs to be told, and it’s pretty intense stuff.”
The film hits theaters on December 17 and I expect the first trailer will be online by the end of the week.
