The Skeleton Twins premiered at Sundance earlier this year and seemed to receive a certain level of mild appreciation, but it also appears to one of those movies to be classified under “just another movie”, which I know isn’t fair, but I just can’t look at this and say to myself, “Man, I have got to see that!” Is that unfair? Especially since this isn’t the only movie that makes me think that.
Starring Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader, the film centers on estranged twins Maggie and Milo, who are reunited unexpectedly, forcing them to confront why their lives went so wrong. As the twins reconnect, they realize the key to fixing their lives may just lie in repairing their relationship.
