For whatever reason, Kevin Smith has become the mouthpiece for Warner Bros. and their plans for upcoming DC Comics adaptations, most specifically Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, but he’s also hinted at having been made aware of future plans for the world they are looking to create.
Nikki Finke DarkHorizons) confirms these are the same plans he was told:
“I’m not allowed to say, but they showed me. I talked a while back about this universe that they are putting together. I looked at [this] list, and yeah, that’s what I heard. This is what I was told.”
Finke suggested Warner Bros. plans on revealing these plans in full at Comic Con in July, but I would be very surprised if they announce all of those films as there does come a time where you are putting the cart in front of the horse. Though, it does seem this is what they are working toward.
