Transformers: Age of Extinction is just around the corner, hitting theaters on June 27 and today the first of what I assume will be a rash of clips from the film has arrived along with a pair of new TV spots.
I haven’t yet watched any of the trailers for this movie, but I did watch this clip, which features Kelsey Grammer and Mark Wahlberg and based on what I see it almost sounds like screenwriter Ehren Kruger may have tapped into Michael Bay‘s Armageddon for inspiration, telling the story of an average, blue collar worker recruited by the government to save the world… This time instead of an asteroid, however, it’s robot alien invaders. Both are equally likely I guess, but robot aliens sells more tickets, which is why we get Transformers 4 instead of Armageddon 2.
Check the videos out below, the clip is first followed by the trailers.
